Train Controller Features

Analog (DC)

  1. Stall controls that facilitate short bursts of extra power to get stubborn locomotives moving. Stall levels may be manually or automatically set. In addition, a kick button may be used to override all other speed controls and supply full power.
  2. Individual controls are provided for each of four sections of track.
  3. Track controllers may be grouped so that several sections of track may be controlled simultaneously. This is particularly useful when moving locomotives across track section boundaries.
  4. Any number or all track sections may be switched to digital (DCC) operation.
  5. Acceleration and deceleration values may be applied to speed controllers to enforce realistic acceleration and deceleration of locomotives.

Digital (DCC)

  • Acceleration and deceleration values may be conveniently applied to speed controllers to faciltate a display of the actual locomotive speed.
  • Individual digtal locomotives or sets of digital locomotives are given meaningful names and are assigned an individual speed controller.
  • In addition to the front light, up to twelve function controls are available for digital locomotives. Functions may be given meaningful names and have a momentary or toggle action.
  • Compatibility

Dotric Station Blue is quite different to other train control systems that are either digital only or analog only. To be specific, Dotric Station Blue works with model locomotives that are not fitted with digital decoders and has been found to work successfully with the following digital decoders:

Lenz Gold, Lenz Silver, Digitrax DH123, NCE DASR, TCS M1, Hornby R8249, LokSound V3.5, LokSound Select, Tsunami TSU 1000, Tsunami TSU AT1000, QSI Quantum Titan.
